Johnathan KINGSBURY


Matilda PETERSON


Johnathan Kingsbury and Matilda Peterson were married in Grundy County Nov. 25, 1863. They had twelve children, of which 4 died in early childhood. They lived in Grundy County until Johnathan Kingsbury died Feb. 9, 1891. He is buried at the Benton Masonic Oddfellows Cemetery. Johnathan Kingsbury came to Grundy County from Oneida County, NY, to work at Jugtown as a potter. The above photos are tintypes taken before 1867.
