The undersigned hereby gives notice to the person to whom the following described land was assessed and taxed for the year 1859 and to all others concerned, that said land was sold by the Collector of Grundy County and State of Illinois, in pursuance of law on the 28th day of May, A.D. 1860 for the taxes and costs due hereon for the year A.D. 1859, and that Dominick McGrath was the purchaser thereof. Assessed two Thomas Hallagan 80 acres, the E ½ S E ¼ Sec 34 Town 33 N of Range 8 East of the 3d P M. And that the undersigned is the lawful holder of the certificate of purchase of said land and that the time of redemption from said day of sale will expire on the 28th day of May 1862. Morris Jan. 1st 1862, D. McGrath Sheriff's Sale: By virtue of a writ of execution issued out of the county court of Grundy county and State of Illinois, and to me directed and delivered in favor of Enoch Buck, Plaintiff and against Silas Jenkins, Defendant, commanding me of the lands and tenements goods and chattels of said defendant to make the amount of the said execution I have levied upon All the right title and interest of said Defendant in and to the following described property to wit: The west half of the Northwest quarter of sec. (8) and the east half of the northeast quarter of Section seven (7) all in township thirty-two (32) north of range seven [7] east of the third Principal meridian, which I shall expose for sale at public venue at the north door of the court house in Morris said Grundy County on the 26th day of January 1862 at the hour of 2 o'clock in the afternoon of the same day. Dated at Morris, this 2d day of January A.D. 1862. Seneca Tupper, Sheriff Estray Mare and Colt: Taken up by George Collins, in Auxsable, 1 Bay Mare about 4 years old, and 1 Bay mare (male??) colt about 1 year old, star in forehead some white hairs about the root of the tail.Certified to this office by N.
